Handy Andy trained as a Boatbuilder at the Solent University, graduating in 1995, where he went on to work at Reading Marine Co, one of the UK’s premier Narrow Boat Builders, perfecting his woodworking and bespoke joinery skills.

He moved to his father’s business where he learnt all the trades within the House refurbishment business, including Kitchen fitting, complete bathroom installations, decorating and all other types of building work.

He then set up his own Marine Fabrication Company in the UK. Designing and Building steel and wooden boats, from Dutch Barges to Slipper Launches, incorperating specialist welding processes including stainless steel fuel tanks etc. He soon took on steel fabrications for the construction industry, including bespoke staircases and fuel tanks for racing cars.

Such was the demand for his work in the housing trade, he continued his love for house refurbishment, completing many projects including decking, patios, fencing and landscaping gardens.

Having now moved to Vaud, Switzerland, he would love to help you out, even if it is a very simple 10 min job or a bigger project that you have been thinking about for a while.
